About Ruma Devi
Ruma Devi is a renowned Indian traditional handicraft fashion designer and social worker from Barmer, Rajasthan. She is the driving force behind a network of over 50,000 rural women, whom she has trained and connected to sustainable livelihoods.

Her determination led her to Gramin Vikas Evam Chetna Sansthan in Barmer, where she joined as a member in 2008. By 2010, she had risen to become the president of the NGO, driving impactful change in rural communities.
