Born and raised in Patna, Bihar, Anand Kumar displayed exceptional talent in mathematics from a young age. His pioneering Super 30 program, founded in 2002, selects thirty academically brilliant students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and trains them rigorously for the highly competitive IIT entrance examinations. Over the years, the program has produced extraordinary results, with the majority of its students securing admission to India’s premier engineering institutes.
