About Auto Annadurai
Annadurai, widely known as “Auto Annadurai,” is a Chennai auto driver who has become one of India's most unlikely and beloved motivational speakers, known for turning an ordinary auto rickshaw into a landmark customer-service experience. Following engage4more's STRIVE framework for impactful keynotes, his sessions turn a genuinely grassroots story into structured, memorable lessons on customer service and purpose for corporate audiences. Born in Tamil Nadu's Thanjavur district and raised in Chennai from age four in a family of auto drivers, financial hardship forced Annadurai to leave school after Class 12.
Rather than accepting his profession as a limitation, he asked a simple question — how can a ten-minute auto ride become unforgettable? — and began equipping his vehicle with free Wi-Fi, newspapers, a TV, tablets, study materials, and more, under the motto “Athidhi Devo Bhava” (treat guests as god). He delivers keynotes and corporate training sessions, available in-person and virtually, on customer service excellence, innovation with limited resources, and finding purpose in everyday work — themes that have made him a sought-after trainer for MNCs across India. Through engage4more, which has coordinated 5,000+ corporate events across India, Annadurai has been booked for customer experience seminars, leadership summits, and motivational corporate events alike.
His story has stayed remarkably current into 2025–2026: a June 2026 viral Instagram reel of a passenger's ride introduced an entirely new audience to his work, reigniting national attention around a man many discovered was already a 7-time TEDx speaker, corporate trainer, and customer-service icon. He has delivered 300+ speeches at organizations including Microsoft, Vodafone, Hyundai, Royal Enfield, and Infosys, and has been featured by BBC, The Huffington Post, and Forbes. He also extends free rides to teachers, doctors, nurses, and sanitation workers — a practice that has become as much a part of his story as the amenities themselves.
