What
- The Search for the Lost Dutchman's Goldmine is a fun and engaging activity that encourages teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership development in a challenging and immersive environment. Book this team-building activity that simulates a treasure hunt for a legendary goldmine in the Superstition Mountains of Arizona. This business simulation activity is based on a story about a German immigrant named Jacob Waltz, who supposedly discovered a rich gold mine in the Superstition Mountains in the 19th century. The legend says that he kept the location of the mine a secret and died without revealing it, leaving behind a map that provides clues to the mine's whereabouts. The participants would be engaged in a stimulating environment in which they will go through a 20 days journey in the mountains of Arizona with the objective of the mining as much gold as possible.
- The experience kicks off with participants entering a room with southwestern ambient decor and high-energy western music. Everyone puts on their cowboy hats or bandanas and the expedition begins with the facilitator dividing the participants into teams of 5-8 people and giving each team a set of resources, including a map, a compass, and instructions on how to navigate through the mountainous terrain to find the goldmine. The teams are also given limited time to complete the task and return with as much gold as possible.
