About Jaswinder Singh

Jaswinder Singh is an Indian ghazal singer known for a velvety voice, classical grounding and a repertoire that extends into Sufi and Punjabi music. He is the son and disciple of composer Kuldip Singh, whose celebrated work includes Tumko Dekha To Yeh Khayal Aaya and Itni Shakti Hame Dena Daata. Jaswinder also trained with Sushila Pohankar, Pandit Ajay Pohankar and Jagjit Singh, developing a style that respects traditional ghazal expression while remaining accessible to contemporary concert audiences.

His discography includes Yours Truly, Dilkash, Ishq Nahin Asaan, Khwabeeda and Arsh, while his conceptual work includes Ghalibnaama and the long-running Kaifi Aur Main. engage4more highlights international performances across the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Dubai and Muscat, and recognises his Young Ghazal Maestro title from the Indian Music Academy. Current streaming catalogues also list 2025 singles including Tere Pass Bhi Jo, Hey Udhav Tumhein Kya Pata, Delhi Te Lahore and Dhian V Kio Ghat. engage4more brings experience from 5000+ events covered.

For organisers, Jaswinder can create a programme that begins with poetry-led ghazals and expands into Sufi or Punjabi selections as the audience energy develops. This makes him suitable for corporate evenings, cultural festivals, literary events, private gatherings and curated ghazal nights. His experience with conceptual productions adds another option: the performance can be framed around poets such as Ghalib or Kaifi Azmi, giving planners a more narrative and culturally rich format than a conventional song set.
