What

Rescuing the Sheroes is engage4more’s most thematically powerful International Women’s Day virtual engagement experience — a compete-to-collaborate virtual escape room challenge themed around the world’s most iconic women. The narrative is compelling: global iconic women — scientists, leaders, artists, athletes — have been abducted by a rogue research company seeking to extract the secret ingredient of their extraordinary capability. Your team’s mission is to crack the codes, decode the clues, and rescue the sheroes before time runs out. The activity is not just a game — it is a celebration of what extraordinary women achieve when they refuse to be stopped, and a team experience that leaves every participant with a renewed sense of what female excellence looks like at its most fearless.

Our virtual activities are designed using engage4more’s MORE² Framework, which diagnoses the specific engagement dimensions your distributed team needs to strengthen. For organisations aligning virtual engagement to strategic priorities, our SPARK Framework ensures every virtual experience connects to your organisational goals. For maximum impact, we recommend combining virtual activities with one of our expert Motivational Speakers for a complete virtual event programme.

Rescuing the Sheroes is built on the compete-to-collaborate format that engage4more has refined across thousands of corporate virtual events: teams compete on a live leaderboard while simultaneously needing to share intelligence across team boundaries to crack the hardest clues. The result is a dynamic that mirrors precisely the kind of cross-functional, cross-hierarchical collaboration that high-performing organisations need from their people every day — dressed in the most exciting, most thematically resonant Women’s Day activity your team will experience in 2026.

How

Participants join via their preferred video conferencing platform and are divided into competing teams in breakout rooms. Each team enters a secure tech-enabled gaming platform where the escape room environment awaits. The facilitator introduces clues progressively, challenges teams to decode objects and sequences, and manages the live leaderboard throughout. Teams must combine observational skills, logical reasoning, and cross-team communication to progress. The team that rescues their Shero in the shortest time wins — but every participant leaves having celebrated and learned from the stories of extraordinary women.
