About Rajiv Makhni
Rajiv Makhni is one of India’s most recognisable and trusted voices in technology journalism, often referred to as the country’s original “Tech Guru.” With a career spanning decades, he has played a defining role in making complex technology understandable, relatable, and genuinely useful for Indian audiences, long before tech became mainstream conversation.
Educated at The Doon School and holding an MBA from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, Rajiv blends global exposure with an intuitive understanding of Indian consumer behaviour. His credibility stems from being present at every inflection point of India’s digital journey, from early computing and mobile revolutions to today’s AI-driven world.
In 2024–2025, Rajiv continues to remain deeply relevant through his digital-first presence, particularly via Tech Makhnified, where he decodes emerging technologies, reviews cutting-edge gadgets, and critically examines how innovation impacts daily life. What distinguishes him is not speed, but judgment, a rare quality in an age of viral tech hype.
What few people talk about is Rajiv’s role as a trust-builder in Indian tech adoption. At a time when technology often feels intimidating or opaque, he has consistently acted as a filter, helping audiences decide not just what is new, but what actually matters. This ability to balance excitement with skepticism has earned him long-standing credibility with both consumers and industry leaders.
As a speaker, Rajiv Makhni brings storytelling, clarity, and perspective to conversations around innovation. His sessions are not about predicting the future, they are about helping people feel confident navigating it. From leadership forums to youth audiences, he connects technology with curiosity, ethics, and informed choice. Booking Rajiv Makhni means inviting insight, trust, and timeless relevance to your event.
