About Sheela Sharma

Sheela Sharma is a remarkable Indian artist who, despite losing both her arms and the toes of her right foot in a train accident at the age of four, has become renowned for her exceptional talent and resilience.

Born in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, Sheela's journey into the world of art began after she was inspired by an artist who painted without hands during her time at a boarding school in New Delhi. Determined to pursue her passion, she taught herself to paint using her left foot, holding brushes between her big toe and the next one.
