About Glen McGrath
Glenn McGrath holds the world record for the highest number of Test wickets by a fast bowler & is 4th on the all-time list with the top three wicket takers - Muttiah Muralitharan, Shane Warne, & Anil Kumble all being spin bowlers. He is Australia’s most successful pacer in India – taking 33 wickets in 8 Tests with a best of 4/18 at Eden Gardens during the epic 2001 Test in Kolkata.
Achievements
Mcgrath has lifted the ICC Cricket World Cup trophy three times, taken more wickets than anyone else in the history of the World Cup cricket. It’s fair to say Glenn McGrath had a huge impact at the ICC Cricket World Cup. He is the Director of MRF Pace Foundation in Chennai where he trains the young Indian pacers himself. He is also the President of the McGrath Foundation, a breast cancer support & education charity he founded.
