Lt Gen Balbir Singh Sandhu is an army veteran who is the Vice President of the Indian Polo Association (IPA) and advisor to the President of the Equestrian Federation of India (EFI). He is the Second Army Service Corps (ASC) officer since independence to be approved for the rank of Lt Gen in staff stream outside ASC and has also held the appointment of Director General Of Information Technology (DGIT). Lt. Gen. Balbir Singh has been a proud member of India’s prestigious armed forces for 39 years, having held key positions in all Arms Operational environments, and is also a leading leadership coach and mentor.
