In 1991, the lead singer of Jane\u2019s Addiction, Perry Farrel, started Lollapalooza as a touring program for the farewell tour of his band and Lollapalooza traveled across the United States and Canada in 1991. What was supposed to be a one-off event became a hit and its success lead its organizers to revive Lollapalooza for the next years which continues until 1997.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The festival went into a loss and the shows between 1998 and 2003 were canceled. The festival finally kicked off and gained popularity in 2005.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Lollapalooza\u2019s lineup has included Rage Against the Machine, Green Day, Metallica, Kanye West, Miley Cyrus, The Weeknd, Dua Lipa, and many more global artists. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
