With more than 300 films behind him, he gave India a kind of hero we don’t see anymore-strong, charming, emotional, and utterly human. Whether it was the intensity of <\/span>Phool Aur Patthar<\/span><\/i>, the romance of <\/span>Anupama<\/span><\/i>, or the easy mischief of <\/span>Chupke Chupke<\/span><\/i> and <\/span>Sholay<\/span><\/i>, he carried every role as if it had been written only for him.<\/span><\/p>\n Born in Sahnewal, Punjab, Dharmendra came into Bombay with nothing but a dream and an obstinate belief that he could make it. He didn’t just make it; he became the heartbeat of Hindi cinema. He had no formal training, no film background, no PR machine. What he had was presence, that rare mix of strength and soul that made audiences fall in love decade after decade.<\/span><\/p>\n Off-screen, too, he was said to be just as real. Friends spoke of his generosity, co-stars remembered his laughter, and fans, across generations, adored him like family. His sons Sunny and Bobby, and grandson Karan, keep the Deol name alive, but that original warmth, that effortless stardom, that was Dharmendra\u2019s alone.<\/span><\/p>\n His death quietly closes an entire era. He belonged to a time when movies weren’t manufactured, they were felt. Heroes didn’t shout loud to prove that they are strong; they would smile, and you simply believed them.<\/span><\/p>\n According to the IANS, he was having breathing difficulties and was admitted to the hospital in early November. His worried fans were relieved when he was discharged on 12th of November.
